Veneers
Veneers fall under the category of cosmetic dentistry and are our most common treatment for enhancing smiles.
They are a conservative method of cosmetic treatment and are customised individually to meet each patients wants and needs.
Veneers can be used to:
- Repair discoloured, worn down, chipped or broken teeth
- Strengthen teeth
- Improve aesthetics with changes in shape, length and size of teeth
- Whiten teeth
- Straighten teeth
What is a veneer?
A veneer is a thin piece of porcelain or similar material about 1mm in thickness that is bonded onto the front of your existing tooth. It is a dental treatment option used to enhance aesthetics.
The procedure requires 2 appointments, 1 to prepare the teeth and a 2nd appointment to bond the veneers into place.
Veneers by an experienced Gold Coast dentist
The procedure involves removing a small amount of tooth structure from the front of the tooth to make room for a customised porcelain covering (veneer) to fit.
Together you and your dentist will decide on colour, shapes and size of your veneers to complement your face and smile.
We offer a free cosmetic consultation to discuss if veneers are the best option for you.
